"Hi, I'm Arianna and I'm an interpreter for alpacas."This is how everything started, with an ongoing joke among colleagues about my two passions: animals and languages.
When I started interpreting and translating professionally back in 2022 I knew I had a dream: to work with and for animals. I'm keeping that dream alive by translating or subtitling videos about animals and animal conservation, and working as an interpreter in a local fair dedicated to animal husbandry, bovines in particular.Animals aren't my only passion. I'm also a massive nerd. If you have a book, a short story or a video game to translate, I'm your gal, especially if it's high fantasy or anything D&D related. I love getting lost in new worlds and discovering the stories they bring, and it would be a dream to specialise in that field.Lastly, my main field of specialisation right now is LGBTQ+ stories. As a queer translator myself, with experience in translating queer stories, I know how important it is to share our stories with others. TED TranslatorsFrom 2022 to 2024 I volunteered as a TED Translator, subtitling and translating some of their videos from English into Italian.
Most of the projects I worked on were about animal conservation, the LGBT community and anything nerd.

Quixote EdizioniIn 2023 I embarked on my biggest project to date, as a literary translator for Quixote Edizioni, an Italian digital publisher.
In late 2025 I completed the translation of the "Plum Valley Cowboys" series, a saga of queer romance books set in a small Texan town.
